After a long absence, Mila Gajda, a respected and well-known performer and dancer, comes to her hometown Kasprow for Christmas. It is here, in the small town, that her nearest and dearest live – Marcin, Dorota and Olek Gajda. A family respected and liked by everyone.\u2028 When Mila arrives home, she finds crumbs on her plates, cold tea in her cups, carp floating in the bathtub, and Christmas preparations underway. But the most important thing is missing – her parents and brother.<\/p>\n

Hours pass, but her relatives do not return and give no sign of life. The woman begins a dramatic search, constantly asking herself, “Where are they?” How is it possible that in a small town, where everyone knows everything about each other, no one has seen or heard anything? In this difficult moment, Mila meets Filip Zachara, a very peculiar – having Asperger’s syndrome, and at the same time extremely smart – Deputy Commissioner of the Search Center for Missing Persons. The very first meeting of Mila and Filip leads to a clash of two very strong, but equally extreme personalities, who are like fire and water. Together, as they search for any clues to the mysterious disappearance, they begin to uncover the secrets of the Gajda family.
