“Strøkne Ann” is a story of a betrayed woman. After her beloved left her, out of pain and loneliness Ann starts ironing everything: objects, furniture, walls, thoughts and… herself. When she becomes completely flat and almost invisible, she finds herself in the ocean, where she meets other betrayed and abandoned women: Dagna Przybyszewska – now Radiolarian, and Camille Colette – now in the form of Paramecium. Abandoned old women, microorganisms whose knowledge doesn’t get outdated support Ann in the search for her own life. As a result of chance and miracle Ann – as Amoeba, found herself in the house of a Polish woman called Anna, who has just been betrayed. Anna gets on a chair and tightens the rope around her neck. But it’s just the beginning of her story.
“Strøkne Ann”, a story of a betrayed woman old as time itself, reflects on the cultural and historic aspects of femininity.

Stryking relationship. One that has been ironed.
You give warmth, and he leaves you anyway.
I flatten everything to make it more human.
