“Shiny combat boots” is a play about the meeting of two people representing radically different attitudes – a skinhead who murdered an Indian man, and a liberal Jew who is supposed to be his attorney. Nothing would indicate that any cooperation is possible. Yet the lawyer makes an arduous attempt to understand his client’s mentality.
